QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a representative of the Club, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other staff, management, members, and guests
• Compliance with all Club Safety Regulations and participation in ongoing Safety Seminars
• In charge of inventory and protecting the assets of The Grand Golf Club
• Must dress in compliance of company policies
• Must keep work area in a neat appearance
• Must be able to work and use the tee sheet and POS systems
• Must have knowledge of golf and resort programs
• May order golf shop supplies and ensure proper levels
• Assists Director of Golf and Head Professional with special projects
• Assists in merchandising, soft/hard golf goods purchasing and keeping golf shop in a professional and neat manner
• Assisting with the development and execution of member events
• Works with Accounting to ensure proper measures are in place for inventory. This includes understanding how these systems interface with each other
• Able to work in golf shop and provide exceptional service
• Any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid drivers license required
• Ability to work weekends/evenings/holidays
• Ability to manage others
• Refined customer service and interpersonal skills

• Positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Cash handling skills required
• ADP
• Experience required
• Ability to communicate in basic English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand for periods of time
• Ability to bend, kneel or squat
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors
