SVB Startup Banking - Portfolio Management - AssociateI
SVB Startup Banking is focused on building deep and authentic relationships withearly-stagefounders, investors, and ecosystem partners to improve their probability of success. Our team is curious, bright, and diverse in professional and personal background made up of former operators at early and growth stage startups, VC's, consultants, attorneys, and everywhere in between.
TheAssociate role is responsible for assisting with the management of an assigned client portfolio supporting the VPs, Directors and Managing Directors.


  • Developstrong relationships with key clients and stakeholdersin the San Francisco/Bay Area Market.



  • Analyze and manage internal and external data sources to identify top clients and prospects, potential cross-sell opportunities,predict fundraising needs, and extract industry trends



  • Facilitate new client onboardingjourney though client service



  • Helpsupportclient engagement and outreach



  • Monitorand trackportfolio health related to compliance and credit risk



  • Increase customer satisfaction (NPS) across portfolio


You will gain a deep understanding of SVB's platform, products & services to best execute on deriving value to our clients.
Qualifications


  • 0-2+ years of related experience



  • Mustresidein the San Francisco/Bay Area or willing to relocate.



  • Candidate should have a strong interest in the innovation / tech community and desire to understandmarket dynamics, trends and investor relationships.




  • Strong relationship management skills



  • Ability to prioritize taskswith effective time managementin a fast-paced environment



  • Able to work in a team environmentandcomfortable working independently



  • Analytical and comfortable making data-informed decisions



  • Knowledge of banking products and operations, along with technology sector experience (Fintech, Consumer, Enterprise, Hardware) is a bonus.
