About the Job:
Leads a small team to execute design updates for projects as assigned by management. The updates may be but not limited to:
Add features to released products
Cost reduction projects
Resolve obsolete part issues
Update older product designs to current and emerging technologies
Find cross references for single sourced components
Works with a cross functional team to ensure that product update projects are executed on time and under budget.
Ensure that project evidence such as Product Assurance Plans, procedures, written test processes and reports are in accordance with organizational policies.
Works with various agencies to ensure updated designs meet agency approval requirements.
Will have 1-3 direct reports
About You:
Bachelors of Science Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Familiarity with printed circuit board assemblies is required
Experience with circuit design for EMC and associated testing is required
Experience leading product development team projects is desirable
Familiarity with industrial electronics products is desired
Experience using an Engineering Product Development Process is desired
Experience being point of contact with agency approval related projects is desired
Use of Altium Designer is desired
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
