Job Description:

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support organizational staffing needs. If you have at least 1 year recruiting experience and strong organizational, time management communication and computer skills, this is the role for you! The position may be located in our offices is St. Louis, Missouri or Viburnum, Missouri.


Responsibilities:



  • Create and maintain job postings in the Talent Acquisition System following established procedures. Complete initial screening of candidates and coordinate technical and on-site interviews, including providing behavioral interview guides to interview panel. Extend job offers and schedule orientation for external candidates.  Includes background checks, pre-employment physicals and providing new hire paperwork.  Assist with panel interviews as needed.

  • Complete administrative duties to support recruiting and staffing efforts to include job posting, maintaining interview guides, drafting offer letters, coordinating background checks, scheduling drug screens and physicals, creating adverse action letters, complete HRIS data entry and conducting new hire orientation. Track staffing metrics and conduct scheduled and ad hoc data tracking and reporting.

  • Enter and update employee information in the HRIS in a timely manner. Establish and/or follow audit procedures to ensure data accuracy.

  • Answer questions of a routine nature regarding job openings, company policy, and benefits. Escalate complex situations as necessary.

  • Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health and safety) policies, procedures and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in recruitment.

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.

  • Valid driver license.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS.

  • Strong demonstration of organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

  • Knowledge of laws related to Human Resources, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating complex, high volume schedules and maintain related calendar invites.

 Work Environment & Physical Requirements:



  • Regularly uses a computer and telephone.

  • Work is generally performed in a standard office setting.

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, talk, and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movement. Requires clarity of vision and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.

  • May be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
