The Treasury Division is looking for a dynamic Analyst to support the Treasury General Account (TGA) Over-the-Counter and the Bank Management System (BMS) operations team. As our Analyst, you will report to a Manager and be part of this team. The BMS unit oversees the analysis and reporting of information held within the application. The Treasury General Account (TGA) operations unit performs monthly bank reviews, project plans, financial institution onboarding, and detailed monthly analysis.

Responsibilities


  • Contribute to Treasury directed outreach projects with Federal Agencies or TGA banks.

  • Compile data for metrics analysis, surveys and ad hoc requests from Treasury.

  • Analyze bank statements to ensure accurate information was provided by the depositaries and identify any large discrepancies.

  • Perform annual bank reviews by investigating/analyzing trends and preparing statistics and supporting documentation reflecting the findings.

  • Revise application documentation including user guides, work flow diagrams, operational procedures and customer communications.

  • Organize customer training for financial institutions and Fiscal Service.

  • Contribute to team operations and maintain positive working relationships.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience

  • 2+ years relevant experience

  • Solid data analytics and problem solving skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information

  • Proficient experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and other responsibilities

  • Travel (5%)

  • US Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three or more years of US residency
