The Mail Services Specialist is an opportunity to interact with all areas of the firm.   The responsibilities include receiving and delivering mail/parcels through out the St. Louis campuses.   This role supports the firm by ensuring 1.8 million pieces of mail are delivered yearly.

 



  • Receive, sort, route and distribute US mail and inter-office mail according to mail guidelines, name recognition and delivery schedules




  • Collect, sort, weigh and meter outgoing mail, including processing certified mail on vendor website, according to USPS and quality control guidelines.




  • Scan and record all inbound express, delivery confirmation and certified mail, prepare report for signatures, deliver packages to proper locations and obtain signatures by specified time requirements.




  • Collect, sort and prepare outbound express shipments by entering accurate information into shipping computer and preparing the package for shipment to meet specified requirements.




  • Deliver all packages and parcels as needed using a hand dolly or delivery cart.




  • Provide customer service through regular contact with all departments answering questions regarding mail operations procedures and schedules





  • Ability to read, interpret and carry out written and oral instructions.




  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet established deadlines.




  • Ability to learn quickly and retain associate name and location information.




  • Ability to communicate effectively with our service receivers in verbal and written form.




  • Requires strong attention to detail




  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.



  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Requires a valid class E drivers license within 60 days of hire


  • Requires knowledge of safe lifting, driving and carrying practices
