RAKA Rentals is looking for a Rental Operations Specialist who will set the standard for RAKA Rentals customer experience by creating and fostering a sales and customer-driven mentality for rental counter activities. The Rental Operations Specialist trains all rental coordinators on counter procedures that are the backbone to our support services, communication and information flow of the branch equipment rental fleet, and how to best serve customers' rental needs. The Rental Operations Specialist will collaborate closely with the Director of Rental Operations to ensure operational tasks are executed in a manner that supports the strategic vision of the Rental Services Group.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES :
Collaborates frequently and strategically with the Director of Operations and Branch Operations Mangers to best understand how to create operational efficiencies across RAKA Rentals locations.
Coordinates internal and external logistics with our rental fleet across all RAKA Rentals locations; upholds operational excellence and creates organizational efficiencies.
Supports the sales of used equipment across all RAKA Rentals locations and thoroughly understands and demonstrates sales methodology best practices.
Assists customers with rental inquiries by capturing critical customer information. Recommends rental products and services to existing and potential customers. Maintains general knowledge of rental equipment allowing for easy recommendations to meet customer need.
Oversees inventory process in order to obtain consistent and accurate cycle counts.
Coordinates and tracks the shipping and receiving of equipment within yard. Loads and unloads machines. Prepares needed paperwork and performs inspections on all incoming and outgoing equipment. Documents any issues found during pre & post-inspections and communicates problems to appropriate personnel.
Creates, edits, invoices and closes all rental quotes and agreements. Obtains credit PO requirements from internal credit department if needed. Ensures COD accounts are collected and maintained throughout rental agreement period.
Provides inventory control management on machines. Manages fleet by regularly reconciling computer vs. physical inventory and solving any discrepancy. Transfers and tracks equipment between stores.
Locates re-rent equipment from other dealers. Arranges for delivery and lease of equipment.
Manages fleet in yard by regularly reconciling computer vs. physical inventory and solving any discrepancy. Transfers and tracks equipment between stores.
Organizes reservations and demonstrations of rental equipment for sales representatives.
Plans, organizes, schedules and dispatches rental and sales equipment for delivery and pickup.
