Helps to keep day to day production running smoothly, within tight time constraints and in budget.

Responsibilities:
Works with Production Manager and EIC to coordinate the various equipment and personnel needed for each production
Organize and set up off site shoots
Keep track of and book essential crew to replace freelancers when they are not avail (many of the positions will need to be covered when contractors are booked out elsewhere)
Keeping track of crew availability
Help to ensure stage crew does not incur OT or penalties by managing time
Maintain production schedules
Create and distribute call sheets to crew and talent including LA Times reporters
Ensure interviewees are where they need to be on time to avoid costly crew OT
Track costs incurred across multiple productions, ensuring receipts and invoices are kept in an organized manor
Liaison between Executive Producer, Line Producer, AP, and Segment Producers
In today’s environment they need to set up zoom lines and all zoom tech checks
Collect timecards, enter into system and check reports for accuracy once received
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of television production
2 years of production experience
Knowledge of production crew responsibilities and specific skills needed for each shoot.
Knowledge of equipment needed to get specific shots quickly while making sure quality does not suffer.
Must be highly organized and able to make quick decisions.
Some payroll experience
Familiar with Farmers wife production software a plus
Google sheets proficiency
Excel spread sheet proficiency
Proficiency with creating calendar and Zoom invites
Basic understanding of the post-production process
Ability to be flexible; working early/late hours, and weekends if needed
Education:
High School Diploma
