YOUR ROLE
As a Global Trade Intern, you will:
Become part of the Global Trade Compliance team and support trade compliance projects/initiatives
Expand your knowledge and understanding of US Import and Export laws and regulations and their effect on a global manufacturer
Support the qualification of Henkel products for free trade agreement eligibility (Ex. USMCA)
Assist trade staff with daily shipment compliance reviews
Collaborate with Global Trade Compliance team members in other Geographies
Answer inquiries from internal and external customers with questions/concerns related to global trade
Work on special projects as needed
YOUR SKILLS
Working toward a BS/BA in Supply Chain or International Business or a MA in Supply Chain or International Business
Interested in a long-term intern position (up to 2 years)
Energetic, intellectually curious, great written and oral skills
Excellent research and analytic skills
Attention to detail along with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a team environment
Strong MS Office software skills
The annualized salary range for this role is $43,860 - 62,400.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
