Position Description:
Distribution and/or stacking of raw materials and finished product in a correct, safe, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Operation of a lift truck in both warehouse and production areas
Utilizing the scanning system
Following and adhering to logistics ISO procedures
Adhere to specific measures as defined by the department and/or plant
Distinguishing different pack codes for different products
Supplying production lines with raw material
Loading, unloading, and storage of raw materials and finished product.
Inspection of trailers to ensure condition and safety of trailer as well as compliance with plant Food Safety Requirements
Correct and accurate completion of assigned paperwork
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
Various activities as needed to support other departments in the plant. May include non-forklift activities as well as cross training into other areas of the facility as the business demands
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have flexibility of job assignments
Must be able to communicate effectively
Safe operation of forklift with a minimum of 2 years of forklift driving experience
