Job Description
Global Wealth & Asset Management (GWAM) is a key growth segment for Manulife. We operate three different channels (Retail, Retirement and Institutional) and are a major player in North America, Asia, and Europe.
Our Retirement business contributes approximately 60% of GWAM earnings and is well positioned in all our key markets. Our US Retirement business, which operates under John Hancock Retirement Plan Services (RPS), is one of the most trusted names in the rapidly evolving US group retirement industry. Over 57,000 plan sponsors and 2.8 million participants, representing over USD 200bn in Assets under Management and Administration, rely on John Hancock RPS for their retirement planning needs.
Reporting to the Head of Finance & Strategy, Global Retirement, the Head of Finance, US Retirement, is a trusted strategic and financial advisor to the US Retirement CEO and Leadership Team. This includes the development and achievement of annual and long-term business goals and objectives, and the development and adoption of key financial and non-financial performance indicators to inform operational and strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance, US Retirement, is also an important catalyst for driving business transformation, and as a senior member of the GWAM Finance community, the role contributes to overall strategy, growth, and transformation of our global franchise.
