Role: Java Production Support Lead
Cognizant is looking for a Java Production Support Lead in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.
An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the “team” and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Application Production Support Lead Analyst (JAVA)
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Provide front-line technical support to end-users responding to issues related to problem/incident management, release/deployment, Operations readiness, Application monitoring, production Governance related to issues.
• Solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop relationships with the business community and interface service providers/teams.
• As a part of the L2 support team, provide stand-by out-of-hours support on a rotational basis for the production system.
• Look for efficiency improvement, productivity savings, and live by the culture of innovation resulting in a highly efficient team and improving operational efficiency.
• Work closely with technology infrastructure teams, development and testing teams in supporting Integrated/independent releases, software, and hardware upgrades, server upgrades
• Communicate with all lines of business and management the overall stats and health of the application, contribute to automation, cause analysis and develop shared/common solutions, proactively identify cross-functional or technical challenges.
• Provide regular status reports on application status, metrics, and tickets to IT management and business.
• Interact with clients and demonstrate empathy to situations and challenges
• Great opportunity for someone with good project management skills and can demonstrate flexibility.
