Job Description

The Global IT Delivery Lead is a key leadership role for the Procurement. As part of the core DTS Source to Pay team, the primary mission of the position is to (1) drive global Procurement business objectives with information technology, digital, data, analytics, strategy, solutions and services, (2) provoke strategic directions through internal/external perspective (3) seek partnerships with the business to co-create the future and manage value opportunities for IT solutions and services and (4) play  crucial role in delivering the Source-to-Pay objectives as part of K-C’s digital transformation program.

The business partner will develop and agree an on-going portfolio to achieve the global strategy, considering KC Procurement priorities, technology and data opportunities, standardization and optimization across regions. Individual will lead, jointly with peers in business functions, the delivery of business change initiatives, ensuring the timely and on budget delivery of IT components. The person provides prioritization guidelines and lead a focused agenda. With adept understanding of business value, the ITBP will drive clear prioritization of value driving initiatives of business impact.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Be the partner and trusted advisor to global procurement leadership to drive the deployment and realization of the functional and business objectives.

  • Define strategy, roadmap for technology, information, data and digital technologies inline with global DTS strategy

  • Focus on Digital transformation, and drive continuous improvement deployment and capabilities

  • Suggest operating model improvements, and process improvements. The business partner plays an active leadership role in enabling IT to be a high performing, agile, focused team.

  • Serve in a critical role within the broader IT team and as an influential player in the IT Team

  • Continuously scans the internal and external environment for best practices, pre-built templates, processes and technologies to meet the regional and global needs

  • Determines and documents the impact of change, challenges assumptions and comes out with revised roadmaps and execution plans

  • Work with project management and business stakeholders to negotiate project plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring all stakeholder expectations are in sync

Key Qualifications and skills:


  • 7+ years of professional experience in procurement applications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in deploying/driving digital capabilities such as SAP ECC, S4 HANA, Ariba, Coupa and other Procurement related tools

  • Proven extensive experience in procurement processes such as Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Order, Invoice-to-Pay, Supplier Risk Management, Vendor Management

  • Successful track record working with business and IT peers in a highly proactive manner. Experience in a matrix organization and influencing stakeholders. Work in a true partnership co-creating and in consultative mode

  • Strength, in relationship building and partnering – embodies true partnership of co-creating and defining the future along with business and IT teams

  • Must be comfortable with fast pace, making the abstract tangible and results oriented
