ERM is hiring a Senior Superfund Site Project Manager to be fully dedicated to a large, complex subsurface investigation project at a Federal Superfund site in St. Louis, MO. This is a full-time, fixed-term position with a duration of 1 year and the possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities:
Daily operations of a complex drilling program, including managing multiple field teams and overlapping field activities, in accordance with the approved Work Plan, Field Sampling Plan, and Quality Assurance Project Plan.
Regular communication with various stakeholders, including the internal project team, clients, regulators, and subcontractors, to provide status updates and elevate any issues that occur in the field.
Overall health and safety program in the field.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related discipline is preferred
7+ years’ experience working on complex site investigation/remediation projects under a variety of state and federal regulatory structures; Federal Superfund experience is strongly preferred
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up-to-date 8-hour annual refresher training is required
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Must be local to St. Louis or willing to relocate for an extended period of time (i.e., about one year)
Prior experience with complex, large-scale drilling programs is required
Strong commitment to safety is required
Organized, detail-oriented problem solver and effective communicator
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple overlapping field activities
