Temporary Program Coordinator


Family Service Association (FSA)


This position is temporary for 3-4 months. It will be based in Calimesa, CA. Full-time.

Key Responsibilities of Position




  • Day-to-day program operations. Problem solves program issues and keeps Administration informed of key issues/concerns.

  • Ensures that the program remains within contract/funding source guidelines/requirements.

  • Provides program staff/volunteer supervision as delegated.

  • Oversight of site COA/CQI requirements including but not limited to: client satisfaction, outcome studies, incident reporting, client and staff complaints/grievances, and case review process.

  • Community outreach, conduct presentations, community involvement, and participation on key committees, organizations, collaboratives, on behalf of the Community/Senior Center.

  • Cross-department creative program responses and innovative problem-solving.

  • Establishing partnerships with local agencies and neighboring cities, communities, businesses, and agencies.

  • Oversight of and insures implementation of Program/Department's Advisory Council.

  • Program development, implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance.The development and implementation of; Health and Wellness programming, Senior programming, Cross-generational programming, Self-sufficiency programming, Social and recreational programming, Special events.

  • Timely and regular attendance.



Qualifications


Required:


  • B.A. in social work; health or related field preferred, High School diploma with considerable experience considered.

  • At least 1+ years of Management/supervisory experience.

  • Experience in a community-based setting.


  • Ability to communicate/interact well with the community, senior citizens, businesses, and government professionals

  • Ability to read and write English and to communicate at the level required for successful job performance

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)




Additional Requirements:


  • CA Driver's License


  • Proof of Automobile insurance

  • Current and Clean DMV print-out report.

  • Background Fingerprint Clearance


  • Drug Test Clearance



Preferred:




  • B.A. in Social Behavioral Sciences

  • Able to mediate issues/concerns and complaints.
