• Providing engineering leadership and facilitating collaboration for multiple projects, including new products from design concept to manufacturing launch, to ensure designs can be implemented into a producible/viable product.

• Providing technical leadership in finalizing design requirements to create designs that meet technical and business requirements.

• Resolving design issues discovered in functional prototype testing and finalizing design for manufacturability (internal and supply base) without compromising product performance.

• Resolving technical issues arising from Prototype & First Article submittals, Verification and Validation testing, and any technical issues which arise in the commercial environment.

• Finalizing and optimizing design of components, including system level solutions, equipment power distribution (120/240VAC), and electrical circuit designs.

• Working with Global Manufacturing Services to consider high volume assembly process in design concepts (Design for Manufacturability.)
