This position is responsible for providing on-site craft employee operational leadership in the field including safety, staffing, material application, and equipment utilization.

Lead and exemplify a safety culture that provides for a safe work environment and drives participation at all levels to meet or exceed Granite's Annual Incident Goal
Recognize and mitigate potential adverse effects to the environment in relation to operations by adhering to the appropriate environmental policies and procedures
Create and/or foster a quality culture that recognizes the effect of quality on all operations, and takes steps necessary to provide a product or service that is a source of pride for our workers and pleasing to our customers
Lead functional construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
Plan, coordinate, and manage resources in order to meet or exceed project objectives
Train, cross train, and develop craft employees to learn all aspects of the job and to uphold high quality and customer satisfaction standards
Effective partner with all project team members in scheduling and implementing project work plans
Interface with all on-site work teams including subcontractors, to resolve problems, ensure quality work, proper scheduling, and safe execution of all work plans
