Support and execute duties central to Stigler Center events and programming, both in-person and online, including the Center's flagship Antitrust Conference and Journalists in Residence Program.
Assist with coordination and communication with event partners, including catering, AV, facilities, and more.
Assist with on-site event and materials set-up, registration, troubleshooting, and attendee support.
Develop and maintain event timelines, checklists, and supplies, both pre-event and day of.
Manage internal and external registration lists, materials, and event platforms and maintain all data integrity.
Assist in the creation of new and improved existing special events programming.
Other duties as assigned.

Multi-task and work independently required.
Perform under stressful circumstances and with tight deadlines required; ability to work well with others and be a collaborative member of a team required.
Work successfully in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines required.
Handle public contact with large groups, senior management, alumni, etc. required.
Work evening and weekend hours on occasion required. Travel occasionally between Hyde Park and downtown Chicago required.
Education, Experience or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum two years of experience in event planning or execution required.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook required
Experience with Zoom and other online meeting platforms is required.
