As the Director of Marketing Communications, you will:
Be a jack of all trades: youre a solid writer and editor, experienced in creating engaging content for internal and external communications, as well as social media; youre tech and data savvy, have a discerning eye for good design, and have experience managing a team of people with diverse skill sets.
Handle the strategic messaging, writing, and editing of communication and marketing materials, including but not limited to press releases, social media, the corporate website, internal and external presentations, and gaming/trade media.
Collaborate with team to plan and execute annual and quarterly marketing strategies and tactics to support our three product division's business plans and product launch goals.
Help brainstorm ideas for content for social media and other digital spaces; enhance companys LinkedIn presence with thought-leadership content.
Work closely with leadership and internal teams to create and provide strategic leadership, direction, and execution of internal and external corporate communications.
Execute a robust communications strategy to deliver messages to internal and external stakeholders (including presentations, sales talking points, emails, texts, presentations, meetings, etc).
Conduct regular media outreach on both a proactive and reactive basis, securing high-quality placements and coordinating all paid advertisements.
Build and maintain B2C/B2B media network and relationships to benefit brand exposure and reputation.
Identify emerging issues, react quickly to urgent requests for background materials or public comment, and serve as on-the-record spokesperson for the company, as necessary.
Attend all product management and sales meetings and provide updates to those teams regarding marketing efforts.
Keep on top of new products, platforms, marketing strategies, and ecommerce tools and trends.
A minimum of 6+ years of relevant communications experience.
Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred but not required.
Experience creating and executing strategic communications campaigns targeting both internal and external audiences.
Ability to interact comfortably externally with the media, community leaders, as well as internally with employees and executive leadership.
Experience leading and managing a team of more than 1 direct reports.
Experience with difficult communication, even crisis situations, having directed strategically appropriate communication.
Experience executing programs across multiple channels from start to finish.
Proven commitment to highest ethical standards, collegiality, and teamwork.
Ability to change hats quickly: strategy one moment, and execution the next.
High-attention to detail and organization; proven-track record in driving measurable results.
High-energy, focused and passionate about the product, people and culture of the company.
Creative, able to write in different voices and capture the person and his/her style.
Ms Office suite, strong PPT proficiency, Canva and Keynote a plus.
