The SeniorGraphic Designer is a lead creative role on the Graphics team within LEARFIELDs Marketing Solutions Group. Aligned with key corporate goals, Marketing Solutions is focused on supporting our sales team by:

  • Developing customized, objectives-based, holistic proposals for brands that help sellers close new deals, renewals, and upsells;
  • Delivering compelling, creative / visuals that bring these proposals to life

Primarily focused on the Central Region, this role will be leading creative development for the regions sales and marketing support team to craft unique visual narratives for pitches to new and existing clients. This position is also responsible for developing execution creative for partners once deals are sold. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills, and the ability to process, react to, and solve problems creatively in a timely manner.


  • Manage a pipeline of assigned projects
  • Work with the Art Director to prioritize workload appropriately
  • Assist in creating visual and supporting new client acquisition processes
  • Proactively recommend creative solutions and best visuals for sales pitches and activations
  • Attend meetings as assigned
  • Submit creative deliverables within the agreed upon process and deadline
  • Develop graphics for a wide range of projects, clients, and platforms
  • Clients include a variety of businesses based in the Central Region who are looking to align themselves and/or their products with college athletics and reach college sports fans
  • Graphic project types include but not limited to stadium signage, logos, digital ads, invitations, presentation templates, brochures, print ads, mock-ups, motion graphics, digital banners, and landing pages
  • Collaborate with other designers to support corporate initiatives across the enterprise at various times throughout the year

Key capabilities:

  • Develop design concepts and solutions based on client direction (e.g., seller, PR, etc.), a creative brief, and personal brand research
  • Think creatively to develop fresh concepts and bring them to life through exquisite design that supports project objectives
  • Possess people skills to engage internal colleagues effectively and persuasively
  • Take a leadership role on the Graphics team to help develop internal team members as well as establish processes and relationships with external teams and clients
  • Display a positive, team-building work attitude
  • Participate in ongoing team training, and keep up to date with industry developments


  • BA degree in graphic design or related field
  • Minimum 4-years of graphic design experience
  • 1+ years of creative personnel management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in high production creative
  • 2+ years of experience in pitch graphics or multipage layout
  • Strong creative portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, skill, style, and experience
  • Master of the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and deal with unforeseen situations
  • Strong skillset for crafting layouts with clear hierarchy and visually stimulating content for both print and web mediums
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
