Development of Toolbox Talks to compliment the EHS management system.
Develop familiarity with Global Industrial Hygiene Requirements (OSHA, EU Directives, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare,Brazilian NR, Etc.).
Development of a global assessment for Industrial Hygiene including collection and analysis of data.
Assist in the development of one of the Global Health requirement documents.
Assistance in developing programs for external functions including Service and Sales groups.
Assist with developing a standard audit protocol for Global EHS. Develop a matrix and general guidance document.
Assist in the development of Global Environmental requirement documents.
Conduct environmental assessments at local manufacturing facilities.
Support the implementation of the SAP Dangerous Goods Master Module.
Contribute to the development of the Hazmat Wiki page.
Assist in the development of Hazmat Transportation requirement documents.
Collaborate with the Hazmat / DG Continual Improvement Team.
Develop familiarity with Product Stewardship Regulations (REACH, RoHs, Conflict Minerals, CA Prop65) and participate on the Product Stewardship team.
Participate on the Global Sustainability Steering Committee.
Collect and analyze global natural resource usage data.
Investigate Safety Data Sheet management improvement opportunities.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Looking for someone with good instructor mindset. This includes written, verbal and presentation skills.
Basic experience with data analysis, methods and graphing.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Comfortable communicating with EHS Representatives from other countries.
Education and experience required:
Incumbent must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, or other relevant discipline, and must have completed at least two semesters prior to the beginning of this opportunity. Prefer a student in Senior standing.
