Kforce's client in New York, NY is seeking a Workday Payroll Functional Consultant on a contract basis to join their team!
The team takes on the challenge of designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. The Workday Payroll Functional Consultant will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.
Role and Responsibilities:
Workday Payroll Functional Consultant assists clients in the design, implementation, and support of the Workday Payroll module
Does not necessarily specialize exclusively on HR, time management, compensation management, absence, benefits, or talent
This specialty uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively implement the functionality into the client's business environment in order to achieve client expected business results
This specialty includes implementation planning, fit analysis, facilitating design sessions to gather requirements, configuration, unit testing, rollout, and potentially post-implementation support
Consultant resolves configuration and functional business issues across the various HR modules
Associate's degree/College diploma
Led a Workday Payroll implementation or lead a Workday support team in this area
Deep knowledge in Payroll module, Reporting, Security, and use of EIBs
Be able to collect requirements and user stories from product owners and provide a functional solution to address the problem
Knowledge of other modules to be able to assess impacts by using Workday Touchpoints method
Understanding of Workday tools like Request Framework, Prism Analytics, Workday Extend, and Integrations to be able to use as part of solution and engage with experts on these areas
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
Previous or Current Workday Consultant Certification
Workday Pro Certification
