Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides thorough Family Assessment in the home, school environment or other community environment.
Completes all outcome measure tools as required.
Assesses safety issues and develop safety plan as needed.
Develops Treatment Plan specific to the needs of the family and updates Plan monthly.
Provides individual, family or couple's counseling specific to the needs of the family.
Provides education related to family functioning, i.e. child development, parenting skills and coaching, communication skills, assertiveness training, etc.
Supports and acts as advocate for the child in the school.
Develops linkages with needed community supports, medical insurance, etc.
Helps family develop natural supports, self-regulation skills and crisis plans.
Completes all paperwork in a timely manner.
Prepares Termination Summary and Aftercare Plan.
Completes follow-up reports as required.
Attends weekly staffing with FSK team.
Completes all required training.
Maintains effective communication and relationship with external agencies related to the case, e.g. St. Louis County Family Court.
