Smooth and efficient unit operations are an essential part of our superior customer service standards. As one of our most valuable positions, you will coordinate seamless and effective administrative tasks which directly impact resident care, including: facilitating the maintaining resident medical records, transcribing orders, setting up appointments and transportation for residents.
Core Responsibilities:
Transcribe doctor's orders
Coordinate nursing unit administrative tasks, resident appointments & transportation
Medical chart management
Role model the customer service expectation on the station
Prioritize, organize and coordinate administrative activities to facilitate smooth, efficient unit operations.
Schedule: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (Every other weekend)
Wage Scale: $24.86-28.07

Qualifications:
Graduate of a Health Information education program or LPN or completion of a medical transcription course preferred.
Prior experience in health care preferred.
Effective communicator with staff, medical providers, families and outside agencies.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer service technique.
Ability to understand residents' charts, doctor's orders, residents' plan of care, medication orders.
Ability to organize and maintain nursing unit order.
Attention to detail, follow through.
Ability to adapt easily to change in routine.
Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as entering orders, timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
