Position Description: Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is looking for an Associate Experience Leader that will be responsible for managing, tracking, and running the process required to provide employees a great work experience, beginning from their first day and onward. This person will be required to build relationships and understand the perspectives of both the associates and management.

Responsibilities:


  • Partner with Site Leadership and HR to identify, design and implement employee experience and campaigns that aligns with the overall site engagement strategy.

  • Design and coordinate programs and area activities to increase associate engagement

  • Create and support an optimal experience for associates to thrive

  • Connect with associates at all levels

  • Engage team members at work while working toward serving the community

  • Creating and executing creative solutions to evolve the associate experience

  • Suggest and implement retention strategies

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements to maintain employee engagement and enhance the employee experience

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field

  • 0-2 years' experience in employee relations or related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written required

  • Must be detail oriented and comfortable with reporting and metrics

  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and persuade others

  • Possess energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for engaging employees

  • Ability to use various software programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ZOOM, and Outlook

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
