The core job responsibilities for this role are as follows:

Analyze terms of legal and credit documents, coordinate closing and funding logistics on new and amended loan transactions where CS is the Administrative Agent or a Participant, and ensure that transactions are accurately built in LoanIQ for proper downstream reporting, accounting treatment, credit risk limits and counterparty exposure management as well as proper regulatory reporting and capital accrual

• Review and approve other colleagues' work to ensure accuracy and to enable the highest standards of data quality
• Provide ongoing training and support to Deal Administrators and their Supervisors with regards to closing functions and loan servicing aspects of their deals
• Evaluate and resolve problems as they arise and raise when appropriate; for example, investigating LoanIQ discrepancies and control breaks
• Participate in projects and ad hoc requests involving the Originations Closing Team; for example, ongoing review and clean-up of risk shifting and risk mitigating data elements; LIBOR replacement project; Borrower remediation project; user acceptance testing of LoanIQ system upgrades etc.

This team operates under a split production model with a group of 4 Origination Closers in New York and group of 8 colleagues in Raleigh, North Carolina.
