As an individual contributor on the Human Resources (HR) team, this role will be responsible for successfully managing all HR-related activities related to major ZB cross functional initiatives such as acquisitions divestitures and transformational initiatives. This includes ensuring the alignment and execution of all HR functional activities across all geographies ensuring all HR functional needs are identified and incorporated into the deal models/integration/transformation plans and are executed accordingly.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Determine HR geographies and functions needing involvement to support proposed initiative design, planning and execution impacting such activities as, but not limited to, benefits, compensation, employment contracts, employee relations, organizational design, payroll, policies, restructurings, talent acquisition, union/works council negotiations et. al.
Educate appropriate HR Business Partners and HR Specialists regarding the proposed initiatives and determine HR implications and needed activities
Ensure initiative plan incorporates HR activities and cross functional/geographic interdependencies are identified and addressed
Orchestrate the participation and manage the execution of HR deliverables in due diligence analysis, risk mitigation/execution planning and execution
Leads the business unit HR partner and HR functions in building out and overseeing the implementation of the execution plan ensuring key milestones are met and identified interdependencies managed. Mobilize identified project team resources
Quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Identify and advise on opportunities, risks, with Functional peers to consistently improve initiative processes to ensure HR functional activities are incorporated and comply with applicable policies and procedures.
Drive rigorous HR integration planning in order to provide detailed guidance to HR executive leadership and Integration Steering Committee.
Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for strategic HR planning and integration execution. Create detailed integration budget models and presentations for senior management to support integration efforts. Actively manage individual project plans and budgets.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional HR meetings, document decisions and follow-up on actions.
Synthesize and present workforce and organizational diligence findings and recommendations to leadership and the broader deal team
Develop companywide HR Integration diligence and integration process and playbook development, continuously improving HR integration infrastructure & operating standards
Manage a portfolio of vendors against budget and compliance requirements. Vendors may include Consultancy, HR Labor Counsel in various countries, Local Communications / Crisis Management, etc.

Education/Experience Requirements
Four-year degree required; Master’s preferred
7+ years Corporate &/or Consulting experience including experience managing total HR support of multiple M&A transactions (diligence and integration) and/or other major cross functional initiatives
Proven track record of successfully onboarding and retaining acquired team members, as well as the assimilation of best practices and systems
Operational experience in key HR functions to understand the work involved, common issues and potential interdependencies
Knowledge and experience with project management, business processes, and systems to effectively manage overall integration and identify areas of potential process improvement
Operational experience within HR is preferred
Travel Requirements
Up to 25%
