As a Human Resources Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: 


  • Uses human resources theories and practices to provide guidance and/or training to all levels of coworkers within the facility

  • Provides support and assistance to employees/management through administration and interpretation of corporate policies, procedures and practices

  • Leads recruiting strategies for a variety of positions

  • Consults with HR and non-HR clients regarding assistance with requests for workforce reporting needs

  • Participates in the development of training and development plans, program design and development, and adaptation to area needs

  • Coordinates various employee recognition events

  • Coordinates and administer training for New Employee Orientation

  • Exercises discretion in matters of confidentiality

Your Skills and Expertise   
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Two (2) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment (internship and/or coop experience applies)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from an accredited institution

  • Experience with payroll administration, training, and/or staffing

  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Working knowledge of theories and practices, typically applied to one discipline, such as benefits, compensation, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, operations, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized 

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

A necessary requirement of each of these positions is that all individuals must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (subject to limited medical and religious exemptions).   Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 means, two weeks have passed since completing the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (e.g., Pfizer or Moderna) or two weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson/Janssen).
