What you will do

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing digital marketing strategies for the Johnson Controls Ducted Systems (DS) Marketing team, supporting three product business units (BUs): Residential, Commercial and Parts. You will manage global product brand websites, email marketing, search engine marketing, programmatic and social advertising, and marketing automation. Additionally, this role makes recommendations for our web and digital user experience (UI/UX), and assists in the education and socialization of global digital marketing best practices to create awareness, drive engagement, qualify leads, and revenue. 

He/she will use Salesforce, Pardot and other marketing automation systems to ensure a smooth customer journey from initial contact to sale and beyond. You will also utilize Sitecore and you must have the ability to make small changes to our pages, as appropriate. In this metrics-driven role, you will maximize program ROI by managing measurable performance benchmarks and KPIs.

How you will do it


  • Partner with Marketing Managers to develop and implement global multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.

  • Manage product brand websites and lead project to optimize them on the Sitecore platform. 

  • Manage content for customer-facing websites and ordering platforms to drive demand.

  • Manage social media channels including providing recommendations to optimize content, and monitoring and responding to social media inquiries.

  • Work alongside agency partners to manage all digital aspects of campaign implementation including build, testing, and personalization of emails, landing pages, marketing automation programs, etc.

  • Support the DS Marketing team by measuring and reporting performance on all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals.

  • Evaluate and optimize end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

  • Oversee budget and help optimize spend on programs through management processes, vendors, and sales teams.

  • Manage projects and ensure effective resource planning across multiple projects.

  • Communicate project status including risks and action items to drive completion in a timely manner.

Required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Operations, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

  • Advanced Salesforce and marketing automation experience. 

  • Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Data Studio experience. 

  • Highly customer-focused and able to manage expectations.

  • Track record of completing projects on time and on budget.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to navigate a matrix-managed and geographically dispersed organization.

  • Action-oriented, self-starter with commitment to delivering with excellence.

Preferred


  • Pardot experience.

  • Additional Sitecore authoring capability.

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS. 

  • Expression Engine experience.

  • Well versed in leveraging data in marketing automation for personalization and creation of behavioral workflows.
