Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for pursuit and proposal efforts to support our Northeast region with a primary focus on the Federal, transportation, water, and real estate/commercial market segments. The ideal candidate will be based in our Mechanicsburg, PA office. This position requires a marketing background in the management consulting and A/E businesses. Successful candidates will possess excellent writing and proofreading skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, strong sense of professionalism, and the ability to work within a team.

Responsibilities

    The Marketing Coordinator will work in tandem with Proposal and Pursuit Managers, business development, and operations personnel to determine pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, assemble pursuit teams, manage the proposal process, and develop proposal responses.
  • Responsible for supporting the life cycle of the proposal preparation process, including state and local proposals, SF330's, design-build proposals, technical proposals, qualification packages, and oral presentations.

  • Comply with our corporate brand to present a consistent appearance/style for presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.

  • Write supporting sales materials including project descriptions, resumes, service overviews, and executive summaries, etc.

  • Have sufficient sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors, at conferences, and business networking opportunities.

  • Support market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.

  • Manage multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.

Required Skills & Required Experience


  • A. or B.S. in Liberal Arts, Communications, Marketing or equivalent experience required.

  • 4+ years’ experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts.

  • Experience with Federal, state, and local proposal formats.

  • Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience are also desired.

  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills

  • Effective proposal management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and work collaboratively.

  • Must be available to work overtime as necessary to meet business requirements.
