Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking an API Automation Tester to join their team. This opportunity is remote for now but will transition back on site in GA.
Key Tasks:
API Automation Tester will work on manual/automated API testing according to project deliverables within Agile teams
Analyze test product requirements and prepare required test data, create system and E2E tests cases; Proactive attitude in finding issues and tracking the issues to closure
Developing, maintaining, and updating manual or automated test scripts and required to execute test cases for headless APIs
Effectively communicating testing activities and findings in oral and written forms
As an API Automation Tester, you will be controlling and managing own daily test activities
Providing internal quality assurance
Supporting test lead/scrum team to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
5-7 years of experience in Manual/Automation Testing
Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in API testing
Experience in API testing using Postman/SOAP UI tools
Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free APIs that meets the needs of client/business partner
Knowledge of basic principles, processes, phases, and roles of application development methodologies
Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation
Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
Ability to deliver results under pressure
Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
