Expectations:

Provides general oversight of all psychiatric services offered by psychiatrists and advanced practice nurses in all programs

Contribute to a climate of clinical excellence by identifying and promoting key elements of good clinical care

Promote general standards of good clinical care as well as guidance to specific clinicians whose work requires improvement

Provide occasional direct care to patients according to the needs of the organization

Participate in identifying staffing needs in recruiting and hiring new staff, participates in new staff orientation

Participate in overall management of clinical programs as part of the High Focus Centers Leadership team

Be able to work effectively with all levels of clinical staff.

Knowledgeable concerning universal precautions, life safety issues, prescription management, patient rights, age-related competencies, harassment free workplace practices and HIPPAA protocols.
