Job Description:

We're currently looking to hire aTalent Acquisitionprofessional to join our growing team. As a team we share with a global external audience the opportunities that are available at IDEXX, the impact of the work we do, and their role in bringing our mission to life: enhancing the health and well-being of people, pets, and livestock around the globe.

Here is what to expect:


  • In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team working to fill veterinary laboratory positions across North America. You'll have your own locations to focus on, but be part of a larger team who works together to drive results for the business. High-volume recruiting experience (2+ years, ideally) is a huge plus and preferred.

  • In this role, you'll develop innovative strategies in partnership with our global leaders to achieve the organizations short and long-term hiring goals.

  • You'll maintain & enhance an active and engaged pipeline of an identified critical talent pool supporting a growing, global business.

  • We're looking for true Talent Advisors in this role. You will advise the business on market trends, challenges, utilize technology and data/analytics to demonstrate and validate your suggestions.

  • You'll utilize networking events & technology to activate our Employer Value Promise (EVP) across multiple channels and social media platforms to increase our employer brand awareness of potential talent.

  • You will be the go-to expert on where to go to find critical talent pools, creative outreach, and how to measure success.

  • Building relationships with and identifying the right universities and key conferences that will get us in front of the right talent will be a key responsibility.

  • You'll serve as the liaison between the hiring manager and job candidates from initial point of contact through the closure of requisition; you'll screen candidates and provide background summaries in line with specific hiring needs in the businesses.

What skills and experience will set you up for success?


  • You're passionate about using a variety of tools and platforms to identify great candidates, creating an active talent community, and keep candidates & hiring managers engaged and informed throughout the entire recruiting process.

  • You're able to work with cross-functional teams to understand the different business drivers of our organization and assure the correct strategy is in place to find the right talent.

  • You're highly organized, can multi-task, and can drive a great customer experience for our candidates and our hiring managers.

  • You will know how the latest employment trends and understand the labor market competitors to adjust and ensure our offering is competitive.

  • You bring the highest ethics to your work, are self-driven and possess superior organizational skills. Interact with all stakeholders with integrity and follow-through on tasks. You don't get overwhelmed easily.

  • You are experienced working with various ATS, CRM, and or CMS tools. We use Workday and Phenom People; experience with those 2 platforms is a huge plus, but not required.
