Business Process Engineer - Regulatory Portfolio Delivery Organization

Role Title: Business Project Advisor

This project role is a permanent position within the Regulatory Portfolio Delivery Organization (RPDO). Your primary responsibilities will be driving process creation and documentation for $5M+ cross functional projects and programs. The role is key to ensure Cigna is compliant with state and federal regulations.

In order to be considered, you must be highly motivated, driven to succeed, have proven leadership skills, and have demonstrated expertise in process modeling/engineering in a matrixed environment. Strong soft skills are essential, as the role will require extensive interaction with director level and above stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead discussions and drive decisions with impacted areas of the organization to design and deliver cost effective process solutions for Cigna (enterprise-wide) in meeting legislative requirements. This includes but is not limited to:

    • High Level Business Impact Assessment


    • Detailed Impact Analysis


    • Development of High Level Process Architectures


    • Development of Detailed Process Maps utilizing Blue Works




  • Drives and advocates change management based upon the evolution of healthcare legislation.


  • Establish partnership within the Cigna domestic business and IT segments


  • Ensure consistency of process among Cigna's international and non-integrated businesses/subsidiaries to ensure organizational understanding and operational impacts are evaluated and assessed


  • Effectively articulate complex process impacts, solutions and/or legislative changes to executive level partners



Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of process modeling, business analysis, and/or project management experience


  • Demonstrated organizational agility - must be able to work with all levels of the enterprise to drive processes and decisions


  • Excellent documentation, communication, and facilitation skills in a teleconference/virtual environment


  • Advanced Microsoft applications experience - Excel, PowerPoint and Visio


  • Ability to navigate a fast paced, highly matrixed organization effectively; remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives; present and communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally



Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA, PMP, and/or Six Sigma certification


  • 3-5 years of experience working with Cigna enterprise - all products, segments, and subsidiaries (i.e. HealthSpring, Allegiance, QANI, etc.)


  • 5+ years of working with compliance implementation at the state and/or federal level


  • Trained in Blue Works



This role is Flex /WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location . Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
