Job Description:

The Associate Marketing Manager, Professional Communications will be a member of the Zoetis Petcare B2B Marketing Team and will play a key role in the successful execution of the Professional Communication strategic and tactical plans in close partnership with the Senior Marketing Manager and Content Manager. These plans are designed to advance the partnership between the Zoetis brands and our Petcare customers. This individual will be laser focused on executing against our strategic imperatives of knowing, engaging and growing the customer. This will require an understanding of market research, data analysis, metrics, an understanding of industry trends and customer needs, professional-facing platforms and communications in an authentic, innovative and impactful way.

The success of this role is largely dependent upon,


  • Understanding and advocating for the Voice of the Customer while being a champion of the customer's experience with Zoetis Petcare

  • Knowing all key stakeholders on the veterinary healthcare team

  • Understanding the competitive B2B landscape and what competes for our customers' attention

  • Command of the extensive Zoetis Petcare Portfolio, including above brand programs

  • Ability to work across teams and groups as a true partner, including the ability to synthesize and connect key tactical elements across B2B sub-teams, brand teams and other internal key stakeholders

  • Understanding how internal and external key stakeholders intersect with our customers; maximizing opportunities

  • Connecting the dots between partner functions (within B2B and across Zoetis Petcare)

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and optimization of the customer experience and communication engagement across Petcare marketing

  • Successful day to day partnership with both Senior Marketing Manager, Professional Communications and Content Manager, Professional Communications

  • Ability to be a highly collaborative, self-starter and creative problem solver

  • Focusing on a nimble, flexible and hands-on approach to execution

  • Aptitude with which to make thoughtful decisions in real-time

Responsibilities


  • Support Digital First Contact Acquisition and Relevant, Associated Engagement Journeys

    Work cross-functionally


    Improve quantity and quality of B2B contacts


    Progressive Profiling



  • Support B2B Communications

    All B2B communications including but not limited to email


    Calendarization, guidelines and cross functional management


    Customer-first approach


    Petcare Portfolio approach balanced with individual brand needs



  • Support B2B Platforms

    Drive site traffic, integrate with other internal workstreams, personalize and target, do progressive profiling, content strategy work, etc.


    Partner with agency partners, Corporate Communications, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Customer Experience, Market Research, US Digital and Data, Petcare Digital and Data, eCommerce, Retail, B2C, Brand Teams, and more to advocate for B2B Petcare presence on Zoetis US digital properties that reflects Petcare Portfolio approach, customer needs and marketing goals



  • B2B Zoetis Petcare Portfolio, Above Brand Resource Development Prioritization

    Facilitate Marketing Cloud journeys for brands to leverage, including lapsed customer journey, new customer journey, etc.


    Develop resources to drive awareness of the "Zoetis Petcare" branding for professional audience


    Develop resources in the above brand space that field force can leverage


    Simplify and streamline by working with brand teams to define connections between brands and portfolios, that resonate with customers and ultimately, help the field force "do more in less time"


    Partner with Sales Leadership



  • B2B Content Planning and Digital Campaign Support

    Partner with Content Manager, Professional Communications


    Execute digital campaigns to improve customer engagement


    Drive awareness of Zoetis Petcare and our brands


    Deploy targeted campaigns by customer segment and improve digital presence (e.g., web sites, visual assets, sales collateral, etc.)


    Leverage marketing automation and CRM tools to generate leads, nurture the customer relationship, encourage referrals and drive purchases on our ecommerce platform



Education and Experience


  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or platform management

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Technical Skills


  • Animal health and/or B2B marketing experience preferred

  • Thrives in a strong team-oriented environment
