Drive major strategic projects as defined by the Diagnostics and US Petcare Leadership Teams. This will be a highly visible role with direct impact on the evolution of our market leading US Petcare business. The role will provide the candidate broad exposure across US Petcare and our Diagnostics Business commercial operations with collaboration opportunities across Zoetis. Projects may include developing the long-term strategic plans, lead market trend assessment and customer analysis, business model innovation, marketing and sales initiatives, and business development (M&A, strategic partnerships).
The Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives must partner across the organization and develop collaborative relationships. They will support the development and socialization of plans, work with the Head of Strategic Initiatives to secure Leadership endorsement, and support execution where necessary. Projects will be defined to enhance value for our customers and our business with a focus towards driving new business, acquiring customers, increasing loyalty and usage, and/or changing the way we do business. They will also be the strategic thought partner for the US Diagnostics Leadership team.
To be successful, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and must be comfortable in an environment of balancing multiple priorities.
