Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptation and modifications.

General Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Assures that the client shall receive the designs and opinions described in the contract between the firm and the client, and that the cost of the project shall be within established

  • Occasionally represents the organization in meetings to resolve important questions, plan and coordinate

  • Prepares design and construction documents and generates thoughtful solutions to architectural problems.

  • Coordinates with engineering disciplines.

  • Performs product research; assists with material selections.

  • Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.

  • Works in app project phases from design to delivery.

  • Demonstrates initiative and independent judgment in performing work

  • Perform Construction Administration including reviewing submittals (shop drawings, product data, and samples) to deliver initial design int Attends on-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings and documents appropriately.

  • Performs architectural assignments under direction but not immediate supervision.

  • Ability to create and maintain project records.

  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state

  • Keeps manager's informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional

  • Development of management skills.



Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:


  • Bachelors degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited college or university

  • At least 5 years related experience

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  •  General ability to solve practical problems which may occur and/or know when to seek direction from supervisor. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Registration as a licensed Architect normally required. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED) certification required.

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm:


  • Masters degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited college or university

  • 5-9 years related experience

  • Bluebeam, BIM360 (Autodesk Build), Revit Dynamo, VRay for Revit, Rhino, Adobe InDesign, ProCore, ProjectWise, and OneDrive
