Goodwill's eCommerce division is the fastest growing area of our operations and our team continues to grow. Our team gets to test, play, photograph and list all of the most amazing donations on sites like Amazon, eBay and ShopGoodwill.com. If you love the idea about coming to work and strumming a Gibson guitar, playing an Xbox, building Legos, or photographing some amazing jewelry, then we want to talk to you! Our Supervisors help motivate our staff and manage daily operations including production goals and customer service standards. Come help lead our team and grow our operations.


eCommerce hours of operation are Sunday through Friday between 7 am and 8 pm.

The Ecommerce Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Ecommerce department, and completes assigned operational tasks with management guidance. Motivates the team to ensure that customer satisfaction and production standards are being met to achieve established revenue goals.


RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:


Implements strategies to achieve the goals for the organization and is responsible for supporting the daily operations within the eCommerce department.  Implements, revises, and sustains policies, procedures and programs. Typically works on projects and initiatives that span 3 - 12 months.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES:


1. Project and Change Management: Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments.  May serve as a team member or subject matter expert on formal projects or within the department. Effectively engages in change affecting her/him, communicating appropriately with supervisor.  Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
2. Problem Solving:  Light supervision; works independently.  Periodic review of work by manager or senior coworker.  Solves problems of moderate to advanced complexity; able to identify root cause, interpret data and resolve issues.
3. Technical Skill:  Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations.
4. Community Engagement: Champions Goodwill's community engagement initiatives and serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community.
5. Maximize revenue and margin from donated goods through online sales.
6. Maximize sales performance through proper listing, handling, rotation, and shipping of all merchandise.
7. Oversee eCommerce operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective utilization of resources.
8. Assist with hiring process of associates; completing phone screens, interviews, new hire orientations and training as needed.
9. Train and coach all employees to reach their potential as highly productive and collaborative members of the eCommerce team.
10. Consistently communicate and implement policies and procedures, reporting concerns to leadership.
11. Maintain positive and professional working relationships with managers, peers, staff, and outside vendors.
12. Accurately complete data entry of required reports on time.
13. Monitor security procedures and audit incoming merchandise for loss control.
14. Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:


1. Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
2. Must have a valid driver's license.
3. Forklift certification, if required at site.
4. Previous eCommerce management experience preferred.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:


Regularly lifts and/or moves up 10 pounds, frequently lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds, occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.  Moves about to accomplish tasks.  Lift:  Raises objects from lower to higher position or moves objects horizontally.  Stoop, kneel crouch or crawl: Positions self to retrieve objects.  Reach: Extending upwards or downwards to retrieve objects.  Worker is subject to weather conditions (hot, humid, dry, cold etc.).  Required to stand for long periods of time, Required to hear and respond to warning devices on equipment, vision Required for while using computer keyboard and work with written and electronic information and to assess product and warehouse operations, travel required.
