Job Description

Provides diagnostic and specialized imaging services in both the inpatient and outpatient environment. Has passed an advanced registry in specialized fields of mammography, CT or MRI. Provides technical support to Radiologist & residents during advanced imaging studies. Serves as a resource to coworkers in their specialized field.

• High school diploma or the equivalent and graduation from AMA Radiologic Technology Program




• Registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified in a specialty




• BCLS certification; if candidate does not have BCLS certification upon hire, they have 90 days from date of hire to obtain this certification. BCLS certification must be maintained as a condition of employment




• Good leadership ability and communication skills




• Works with minimal supervision. Ability to cross train and pass competencies in other modalities




• Must have knowledge of the human development process and ability to work effectively with all patients of all ages




• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to assist and move patients




• Ability to operate a computer and to input and retrieve data
