What Will Your Role Be?
This senior FP&Arole reports to the Director, FP&A Americas and supports the sales engagement model analysts with comprehensive management reporting and variance analysis for headcount and operating expenses. This role is responsible for all headcount and expense management reporting for the NAM GEO sales organization scope. This will include actively driving the monthly E/R outlook process and creating/maintaining monthly and weekly standard reporting and analysis packages.
Your Challenges Ahead
This role will also be the finance business partner to the leaders of the NAM Tech Sales organization, the Boeing Program organization, Sales Strategy and Planning, Workforce of the Future and GEO Managaing Director. This includes all budgeting and forecasting activities for headcount and expense and associated variance analysis and management reporting. This role will the primary point of contact and interface to our corporate Global Sales FP&A organization.
Ensure effective performance tracking, analysis, reporting & action proposals for the organization he/she supports
Contribute to guidances and recommendations on business decisions and transactions
Contribute to budget and forecasting processes and help business for his/her scope of activities to provide timely & accurate information
Responsible for financial data quality within his/her scope of activities
Conduct the yearly budget and quarterly forecast process in collaboration with all 3DS organizations: Geos, Customer Value Engagement, brands, Global Functions, Strategy
Define and communicate financial planning policies and processes (forecast, budget, actuals, business review) with business and finance partners
Follow upon 3DS Group key financial performance indicators: analyze variances to targets and implement with Operations the necessary action plans to close gaps (if any)
Collect, consolidate, summarizemanagement financial results of area of responsibility while understanding the detailed drivers of results
Challenge performance of his/her scope of activities through follow up of relevant KPIs
Provide analysis and dashboards to business partners and senior/ management (GEO GEM and CFO ) and suggest corrective actions plans as necessary
Your Key Success Factors
Previous experience and success in a financial planning and analysis role in a multinational company in the high tech industry
Undergraduate degree in business (Finance, Economics). (MBA or other advanced degree a plus)
Solid working knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong working knowledge of advanced Excel skills using complex functions
TM1 and cube based data reporting and data mining
Solid and demonstratedanalytical skills. Able to identify root causes of problems, participate in the generation and evaluation of alternative solutions, and implement problem resolutions quickly and effectively
Demonstrates flexibility to adapt and thrive ina fast paced environment with hard deadlines, multiple and competing priorities and constantly changing workload
Demonstrates ability to manage time effectively to meet needs of multiple internal customers
Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential
