JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Frontend Developer
Location: Initially Remote (Princeton NJ)
Duration: 6+ Months (long term)

SUMMARY:

*This position requires candidates to be fully vaccinated even if working remote*

Minimum of three years in scripting but 10-12 experience otherwise. This is a pure front end. They develop components, no backend. Just JSON and scripting.

• Strong coding expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS with knowledge of internals with a minimum of 3 years of experience developing world-class user interfaces.


• Strong understanding of ReactJS and its core principles and at least one year of experience in building applications using React.


• Exposure to application state management and UI store using Redux and Saga.


• Understanding of JavaScript Design patterns, transpilers and module bundlers.


• Sound knowledge of ECMAScript specification.


• Understanding of Object-oriented programming, asynchronous and functional programming.


• Understanding of authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.


• Robust debugging skills and experience of automated testing platforms and unit tests.


• Knowledge of other JavaScript client-side frameworks like Angular, Vue, Chart.js, D3.js, GreenSock a plus.


• Expertise integrating UI with backend services RESTful APIs.


• Strong analytical skills, problem solving aptitude and good communications skills.
