Job Description:

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Perfumery Division at the North American Headquarters in Plainsboro, NJ.The purpose of this job is to manage well run & executed projects for Firmenich's New Business Accelerator Team and support the team in securing targeted new business opportunities. This begins with project inception through submission and follow-up/rework.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure smooth and strong communication across all departments by working closely with Sales, FDM's, technical, sampling, marketing, application labs, perfumery & the client.

* Leverage resources efficiently & effectively against targeted projects to increase success rates.

* Field inquiries and requests, implement procedures, improve communications and facilitate the flow of information to support new wins and global roll-outs.

* Follow the flow of briefs from start to finish so that all needs of the client and brief are met on time. This includes:

* Receiving all briefs, either directly from customer or indirectly through commercial team. Discuss time-lines, participants, resource teams & pricing/potentials with Account Managers (ACM).

* Continually Coordinate with key players for briefs: FDMs, Technical, and Perfumers when necessary, to ensure that all projects are running efficiently. Alert ACM of any issues.

* Ensure that base and market products required for briefs are requested and obtained on time.

* Ensure that oils and samples are sent on time to meet deadlines.Ensure accuracy of all submissions.

* Ensure that necessary safety and technical documentation, presentations, and any other client documentation meets the brief requirements, and is submitted on time.

* Support FDM, sensory, technical, & Marketing in preparation of final client presentations.

* Initiate stabilities, ensuring that the tests are conducted and reported on time and read at correct intervals. Record all pertinent information in cross-reference database.

* Enter and maintain projects and price files in Firmenich's Atlas Project Management Tool and SAP.

* Coordinate with Account Manager on Supply Chain Notice input. Enter & manage all Supply Chain notices into Atlas.

* Prioritize and manage the flow of customer sample requests.

* Visit client as necessary to build strong relationship.

* Drive/execute projects including initiating stability testing, ensuring that oils and samples are sent on time, entering submissions for briefs, entering Supply Chain notices into Atlas, and enter/maintain price files. Schedule and prepare visitor agendas and arrange client meetings.

* Work closely (daily interaction) with Perfumery Labs and other affiliate sites.

* Work with and mentor the Commercial Assistant supporting the Business Accelerator team * Interact with Customer Care team to resolve issues.

* Prepares data and reports for Commercial Team, as well as handle Special Assignments.

Requirements:

* Associate Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred.

* Minimum of 2 years administrative experience.

* Ability to multi-task, solve problems and work in a fast pace environment.

* Good communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service.

* Detailed oriented, with a high level of organization skills.Strong ablitity to work with Data.

* Excellent administrative and computer skills including MS office suite and working with complex computer systems.
