The Contact Center Receptionist greets incoming visitors and answers/ redirects calls to the appropriate department as well as supporting site staff so they can focus on their jobs. Responsibilities vary based on site, staff and company needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greets guests, maintains visitor logs and answers incoming calls for site.
Signs for and distributes package deliveries
Ensures maintenance and proper operation of major site equipment (i.e. printers, faxes, security system, badges) and restocks base supplies)
Assists/Processes submittals for new purchases and office set up (i.e. computers, headsets, monitors, office supplies, voice mail set-up)
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Skills & Experience
1 to 2 years receptionist work and/or contact center customer service experience is preferred
1+ year(s) experience in an Administrative Assistant position strongly preferred
Excellent customer service and people skills and must be able to work independently or with a team
Ability to quickly learn new technology and processes
Must be able to understand and follow complex instructions
Read, write and understand English fluently
Ability to accurately type 35wpm
