Receptionist

The Contact Center Receptionist greets incoming visitors and answers/ redirects calls to the appropriate department as well as supporting site staff so they can focus on their jobs. Responsibilities vary based on site, staff and company needs.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Greets guests, maintains visitor logs and answers incoming calls for site.

  • Signs for and distributes package deliveries

  • Ensures maintenance and proper operation of major site equipment (i.e. printers, faxes, security system, badges) and restocks base supplies)

  • Assists/Processes submittals for new purchases and office set up (i.e. computers, headsets, monitors, office supplies, voice mail set-up)

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


Education



  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)


Skills & Experience



  • 1 to 2 years receptionist work and/or contact center customer service experience is preferred

  • 1+ year(s) experience in an Administrative Assistant position strongly preferred

  • Excellent customer service and people skills and must be able to work independently or with a team

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and processes

  • Must be able to understand and follow complex instructions

  • Read, write and understand English fluently

  • Ability to accurately type 35wpm
