Job Description:

Primary function:

This position is responsible for performing as a customer service representative for all divisions. Accurately obtain and enter all essential information needed to complete registration and schedule appointments while following standard business practices. Provide excellent service to internal and external customers as a member of the PSS team.

  • Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.
  • Customer Service: answer phone lines in a prompt and courteous manner and handle appropriately.
  • Registration: collect, maintain and insure accuracy of patient and insurance information through the use of standard business practices.
  • Scheduling: understand visit types and proper utilization of questionnaires to efficiently schedule appointments.
  • Communication: daily management of electronic communication (Outlook messages, WebXchange, EPIC messages, Telephone Encounters).
  • Mailing of appointment reminder letters with appropriate packets as assigned.
  • Ability to cover outbound work as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
