Kforce has a client in Danbury, CT that is seeking a Portfolio Analyst.
Summary:
The Portfolio Analyst will join a small team of professionals to serve as the primary client liaison related to managing the company's accounts receivable portfolio. Each Portfolio Analyst is assigned and responsible for leading and managing a designated portion of the AR portfolio. The role currently reports directly to the Director: Shared Services.
Job Responsibilities:
Portfolio Analyst will create portfolio strategy to optimize AR performance
Manage portfolio analytics and reports to monitor performance against KPI's
Review and prioritize accounts based on risk, administrative requirements and/or delinquency and account balance size
Understand dynamics of contract-to-cash workflow process, with a keen eye to identifying areas on continuous improvement
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will work collaboratively with sales and inter-departmental teams to optimize performance and manage the client relationship related to invoicing quality
Build business relationship with key client stakeholders in order to decipher the customer's order and AP process to streamline and expedite payment
Maintain up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems
Initiate outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers; While adhering to company policies and procedures
Portfolio Analysts respond to any emails and process any disputes in a timely manner
Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining company performance and productivity standards
Provides detailed but concise account updates to management as requested
Researches and analyzes customer disputes to validate billing
Escalates customer facing issues to management within a reasonable time frame
Serves as a resource/subject matter expert and may provide training to fellow team members
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of experience in a B2B credit and collections environment
Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy
Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills, including advance Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of Dynamics AX or 365
Experience in a High-End OEM B2B manufacturing company a plus
