Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on 1st shift, which is scheduled Monday through Friday at 6:00am to 2:30pm. This role reports to the Estimating Manager at our plant in Everett, Washington and is considered a critical member of the CPP-Everett team, working closely with the team to manufacture aerospace components as per drawing. Major Responsibilities
Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Presents prepared estimate on final bid sheet for final review and approval. This displays all assemblies, numerical and descriptive information.
Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data into Vista (Quote Entry) and Bid Sheet (Excel Worksheet) under specific part number on F:QuoteSheets.
About You
Machining Background 5 years minimum with a background with Lathe and Mill machining, turning experience necessary.
Fluent understanding in reading and interpreting Blueprints and Parts List
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Excel Worksheets
Proper and professional etiquette when dealing with Vendors (email & phone calls)
