As part of our onsite team in Danbury, CT, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the staffing function. This highly motivated, team oriented leader will manage a team of recruiters and lead all aspects of the recruiting life cycle for a highly technical, innovative organization dedicated to the defense of our nation.


Responsibilities include:



  • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders and HR partners to understand the current and future talent needs of the organization and create and implement effective sourcing strategies to support those needs.

  • Build brand awareness through partnership with both internal and external resources utilizing social media and other tools and resources

  • Ownership and effective utilization of the Company's recruiting and applicant tracking platforms, ensuring optimum use and regulatory compliance

  • Establish talent reporting and analytics to establish goals, drive continual improvement and ensure effective decision making relative to tools and resources.

  • Identify and implement creative and novel sourcing tools to include attracting diverse talent.

  • Build and manage a staffing budget.   

  • Ensuring all staffing tools and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and enhance university relations program and student hiring.

Experience Required:



  • Prior experience recruiting technical professionals in such disciplines as engineering, manufacturing, cyber security, and supply chain.  

  • Prior leadership experience (direct or project leadership) with demonstrated success in directing, motivating and influencing others to achieve desired results.

Skills and Knowledge Required:



  • Skilled in utilizing social media and developing brand content to drive hiring success

  • Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking systems with ability to utilize system tools and metrics to establish goals and drive performance. 

  • Proven success in developing strong networks and identifying effective and varied sourcing strategies and tools.

  • Ability to put together strategic plans in support of talent acquisition goals while also being able to execute effectively.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and externally.

  • Understanding the importance of meeting all compliance requirements with demonstrated ability to maintain up to date knowledge and implementing regulatory requirements.
