The Sr Supply Chain Analytics Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and insights within Alteryx, PowerBI, and Tableau to provide insightful business recommendations. This position will collaborate with customers to identify opportunities, develop dashboards, create insights, track processes and results through data analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
Create, modify, maintain, and schedule dashboards and workflows using various report writing tools
Identify areas of potential business risk and communicate to appropriate leaders
Make recommendations for necessary changes on varying projects and processes
Identify customer requirements, review testing plans, track, and document development/results.
Analyze data to provide insightful and actionable insights
Collaborate with key stakeholders including IT to address system upgrades, issues, and project related tasks as assigned
Ability to perform complex root cause analysis to resolve potential workflow and database issues
Create and lead system trainings in one on one and group settings
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent degree
Alteryx, PowerBI, and/or Tableau certification is desired
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in analytics and/or reporting
3-5 years of experience with ETLs, Database structures, etc.
Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge gathering requirements, functional design and working with business processes
Advanced knowledge of one of SQL/Python/R or similar language
Advanced knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx or similar visualization and workflow automation tools
Skills/Abilities:
Proficient communication and writing skills
Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient knowledge of Windows-based applications specifically: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Must be a self-motivated learner
Physical Environment:
Some travel may be required
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
