POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analyst works closely with the Manager - Strategic Pricing and Contracting to provide business support to CuraScript SD, Matrix GPO and other assigned business units. Under general supervision, plans, coordinates and implements financial and business processes to support and enhance the financial management of assigned business units.

Position will have responsibilities related to rostering, variance analysis, benchmarking and reporting for Matrix GPO. Compiles and analyzes data to report on key performance metrics. Responsible for supporting group development and addressing operations statistical, business and financial information requests including budget, expenses, variances and year-to date performance. Assistance in developing competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals through data analysis and collaborative with sales teams.

CuraScript SD provides integrated delivery solutions for the safe and efficient distribution of specialty pharmaceuticals and associated medical supplies. We've been caring for those who care for more than a quarter of a century, by supplying biologics, branded drugs, generics, vaccines, infused medications and ancillary supportive care products for office or clinic administration to a wide range of medical providers - including physicians, infusion centers, acute care treatment centers and long-term care facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES TO INCLUDE : Partnering with key business stakeholders (Finance, Operations, & Sales) to understand their analytical and decision support needs. Driving new modeling and analysis to enable actionable insights. Presenting findings and recommendations to business leaders via consolidated metrics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
  
  


• Ability to conduct complex, data driven analysis via querying large datasets.
  
  


• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy to understand business terms.
  
  


• Strategical thinking pertaining to critical business issues
  
  


• Proven experience developing processes and/or improving existing processes, with desire to inspire change across the team and sales organization.
  
  


• Thrive in a fast-pace, demanding environment.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Enterprise Tools such as: Business Objects, SAP Hana Dashboards, Hyperion, Essbase, Alteryx, Tableau, Power Pivots, Salesforce, basic to intermediate VBA/SQL knowledge.
  
  


• Prior experiencing interacting with and reporting for a Distribution and/or Sales Organization.
  
  


• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
  
  


• 5+ years relevant experience.
  
  


• Experiencing with VBA report automation.
  
  


• Experience interpreting contractual language.
  
  


• Experience/knowledge pertaining to the pharmaceutical industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
  
  

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
