Tetra Tech's commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. We are currently seeking a motivated SME - Nuclear Power Specialist . This is a part-time/on-call position.

Responsibilities:


  • Support Tetra Tech small modular reactor project planning, design, and licensing.
  • Participate in project technical and management meetings.
  • Interface with Tetra Tech Canadian operating units (including Tt-PWR), Ontario Power Group (OPG), client and partner organizations, and project subcontractors.
  • Provide input for small modular reactor waste programs, systems, and equipment.
  • Prepare, review, and/or comment on technical work products.

    Requirements:

    • High School or Equivalent.
    • 15 years of experience.

    • Subject matter expert / specialist on commercial nuclear power reactor operations / public utilities experience.
    • Experience with multi-discipline nuclear facility technical, operations, licensing, and NQA-1 quality assurance tasks.
    • Previous experience with nuclear facility waste operations.
    • Knowledge and understanding of nuclear facilities, systems, and equipment design, configuration management, operation, and maintenance.
    • Experience working with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
    • Must hold or can readily obtain a security clearance (having previously held a clearance within the commercial nuclear industry).
